Learning Objective
Participants will learn how recent credit events and current economic conditions have affected financial institutions in general and specifically their investment portfolios. They will leave the seminar with strategic ideas in the following areas: current purchase opportunities to take advantage of today's wide spreads; analysis techniques to identify potential problems in their municipal portfolio; alternatives available if credit problems arise in the loan portfolio.
Prerequisites
Participants should have a current role in managing, overseeing, or analyzing the investment portfolio.
